Job Advertisement: Cook and Kitchen Assistant

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The job involves variation and challenges. You will work with different people from day to day in various units within Meal Falkenberg's units. Your work may be in a large kitchen with 10 employees and 1100 portions, or in smaller or solo kitchens with a few portions.

We are looking for a cook and kitchen assistant to replace regular staff when they are absent. The work involves varying working hours, both weekdays and weekends, during daytime.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with restaurant education at the high school level or similar, as well as experience. You are interested in cooking, engaged, and responsible. As a person, you are flexible and deliver good quality at a high pace. We are looking for someone with a strong sense of service who can take initiative if something unexpected occurs. You are structured and self-driven.

Your tasks and workplace are varied, so you need to be open to working in different locations.

If you are applying as a cook, you need to have appropriate education in the profession or experience deemed equivalent.

If you are applying as a kitchen assistant, it is beneficial if you have education in meals, restaurant, or other education deemed equivalent.

Having a driver's license and access to a car is an advantage.

You should be able to work independently and have good knowledge of food, self-control, and special diets.

Your ability to understand and use the Swedish language, both orally and in writing, is very good.
