About us:

Peder & Co is located just outside Gekås in Ullared, Sweden's largest tourist destination. We offer a welcoming atmosphere and serve quality restaurant food with a twist – here you will find both classic dishes and exciting game elements on the menu, which varies depending on the season. Our goal is to provide our guests with a taste experience beyond the ordinary, whether they are on their way to Gekås or looking for a really good dinner.

Responsibilities:

* Lead and develop the kitchen team, ensuring efficiency and quality in all work processes.

* Be responsible for menu planning and recipe development, focusing on seasonal ingredients.

* Ensure that all dishes are prepared to a high standard.

* Monitor and ensure that hygiene and safety regulations are followed in the workplace.

* Budget responsibility and management of costs for food purchases and inventory.

* Train and inspire staff, creating a positive and developing work environment.

* Collaborate with the restaurant management to achieve common goals.

We are looking for someone who:

* Has several years of experience as a head chef or in a similar leadership position within the restaurant industry.

* Is creative and has a passion for creating new and exciting dishes.

* Is structured, has good organizational skills, and can work effectively under pressure.

* Has strong leadership skills and can motivate and develop your team.

* Has good knowledge of food handling and follows hygiene and safety regulations.

* Is flexible and has the ability to adapt to changes in workload and season.
