Responsibilities and Tasks

As a legal expert, you will work with governance and support in data protection and digitalization. This also includes administrative law, transparency and confidentiality, and other government legal matters. You will also support other parts of the agency in the work with governing documents and participate in the development of internal governing documents, such as guidelines on data protection issues. You will participate in the work with consultation responses and the drafting of legislative proposals within the areas of responsibility. The work includes conducting training sessions and extensively participating as a legal expert in various projects and working groups. Your focus as a legal expert will be to provide legal expertise in the agency's development work in digitalization. Based on deep knowledge of the regulations governing the digitalization work, you will represent the Swedish Social Insurance Agency in inter-agency collaborations in the field of digitalization.

You will work in a team where curiosity, humility, and care for colleagues are a given. As a legal expert, you will handle confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you have a high level of security awareness to work with us.

We are looking for someone who

• has a law degree
• has excellent knowledge in data protection and digitalization
• can work independently and take responsibility for high-quality results

• can understand and analyze complex issues
• communicates clearly, concisely, and structured
• appreciates and has a strong ability to collaborate with others.

It is meritorious if you

• have experience working with digitalization issues, preferably in a government agency or another relevant client, such as a law firm
• are court clerk qualified or have other equivalent court experience
• have experience working with security protection legal issues
• have experience collaborating with colleagues in various fields
• have good pedagogical skills and can explain and simplify complex legal terms.

Other

A number of positions, permanent, full-time, with start date by agreement. A probationary period may be applicable.
