The Gothenburg Primary School Administration is responsible for the city's nearly 140 municipal schools, from preschool to grade 9, adapted primary schools, after-school care, and cultural schools. Welcome to work close to the forest, the city, or the sea. We are Gothenburg.

Job Responsibilities

In cleaning services, you work to keep our facilities clean and hygienic. Through good service, you contribute to a positive climate in our operations.

We are now looking for hourly-paid cleaners for the staffing unit Internal Service Preschool and Primary School. As an hourly-paid employee with us, you will work variably as the needs may differ in our operations. You will meet our students and staff in the facilities. Therefore, it is important that you are service-oriented and have a good demeanor. The work requires flexibility and the ability to adapt working methods according to various job descriptions and cleaning schedules. Being hourly-paid means:

• you will work at several different preschools and schools within Gothenburg City
• you will replace regular staff during short-term absences
• you will enter the times you can work in our booking system Time Care Pool and be booked when needs arise in the units
• your working hours may be scheduled sometime between 06:00-15:30 Monday to Friday

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with education and/or vocational certification according to SRY, PRYL, CLV+ or equivalent. It is also advantageous if you have previously worked with various cleaning machines, sustainable cleaning, and chemical handling.

As a cleaner, you are the face of our internal service operations. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is service-oriented and has good customer interaction skills. With us, you will work according to various job descriptions and cleaning schedules. Therefore, good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required. You should be able to follow instructions easily and work independently. You are meticulous in your work and take responsibility for ensuring it is done properly. You find it important to create good relationships with both colleagues and customers. The position requires you to be flexible and able to step in at short notice.
