The Upper Secondary and Labor Market Administration is responsible for labor market initiatives, financial assistance, receiving newcomers and quota refugees, as well as upper secondary school, adult education, and summer internships.
About the position
As a development leader with a mandate towards the Employment and Welfare operations, your role will be crucial in providing the Upper Secondary and Labor Market Board with the best possible conditions for making well-founded decisions. Your main task is to support the administration's managers and director together with a colleague.
We are located in premises right in Huddinge Center, close to shops and restaurants, and it is easy to reach us by public transport.
In your role, you will:
- Support the management by delivering accurate analyses, preparing cases, and drafting decision-making documents such as consultation responses, motion responses, reports, and investigation assignments
- Act as a key resource, where you and your colleagues are responsible for coordinating the planning of the operations, as well as acting as a strategic advisor
- Follow up on goals, strategies, and projects, and continuously work to improve the administration's operations
- Develop quality reporting, internal controls, operational follow-up, and statistical analysis
- Participate in the development of the operational plan and annual report
Who are you?
You will have many contacts within the organization and be a key person in the work with operational follow-up and reporting.
To be able to manage this role, we believe you have previous experience as a development leader, investigator, operational controller, or equivalent background.
We want you to have:
- A university degree in political science, behavioral science, economics, or equivalent
- Several years of experience in a similar role, as well as experience with the target group
- Extensive experience working with texts and handling large amounts of information
- Experience working in a politically governed organization
- Very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing
We consider it a significant advantage if you have:
- Experience working with labor market initiatives.
- Experience working in upper secondary education and labor market and municipal sector
You are a highly experienced writer and accustomed to working with deadlines. You have a sharp, strategic eye and can translate complex issues into concrete proposals. You are good at creating and maintaining good relationships and enjoy collaborating with others. You have strong analytical skills, take initiative, and have the ability to structure your approach and independently drive processes forward. Your work is of great importance to the administration's quality and development work, which requires you to be meticulous, quality-conscious, and have a holistic perspective.
