Your new job

We are looking for someone who has the ability to lead, communicate, and create engagement, as well as to see both the individual and the organization as a whole.

Common tasks

• Lead and develop the organization and be responsible for personnel and working environment
• Ensure efficient operation and development of facilities and processes
• Be responsible for budget, follow-up, and financial results
• Drive organizational development in connection with reorganization
• Collaborate with other units, administrations, and external actors
• Ensure that the organization complies with applicable legislation and guidelines

Requirements

• Academic or post-secondary education with a technical focus, or equivalent competence acquired through work experience
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Driver's license (B)
• Good computer skills

Desirable

• Several years of leadership experience with formal personnel responsibility
• Experience working in a politically governed organization
• Experience in organizational development or change work
• Experience in water and wastewater operations
• Interest in technology, environment, and sustainable community development

Other

The position is classified in a security class, which means that a security check and background check will be conducted according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) before employment.

Be part of building important community functions for our citizens as well as for the municipality's operations. Our operations are very broad. We work with everything from park maintenance, waste management, recycling, and property maintenance to snow removal, land and construction work, water purification, meal preparation, cleaning, and sanitation.
