Electrical Engineer for Region Jämtland Härjedalen
Region Jämtland Härjedalen manages approximately 190,000 square meters of properties throughout the region. The mission of the Property Department is to ensure that the Region's various operations are conducted in efficient and appropriate premises. The region's facilities primarily host healthcare activities in various areas, and the premises are used for emergency care, surgical care, radiology, health centers, ambulances, etc.

We are now looking for an electrical engineer who, in their role, contributes to improving Region Jämtland Härjedalen's property portfolio through the development and management of existing properties. This occurs in close collaboration with various operations, and you will cooperate with many different professional categories.
At the Property Department, you will work alongside your new colleagues, such as construction project managers, HVAC coordinators, property managers, and space planners.
The Property Department is in an expansive, improvement-oriented, and very exciting phase where you will have the opportunity to influence and contribute to how the operations' mission is carried out.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As an electrical engineer, you will be responsible for representing the Property Department in contact with other operations within Region Jämtland Härjedalen, which can range from operations technicians to health and medical care management. As an electrical engineer, you will be responsible for the safe maintenance of the facility. In your role as the electrical facility manager, you will be influential in electrical safety work. An important part of your work is also to be involved in practical operations, work on problem-solving, and provide improvement suggestions for our facilities.
Examples of responsibilities include: annual and multi-year planning for maintenance measures, short-term prioritizations, supporting operations technicians when problems arise, and participating as a technical specialist in new construction and renovation projects.
The work is largely performed independently, and therefore we see that you thrive in working under your own responsibility. We highly value initiative and engagement. Of course, you are service-oriented and have a good ability to communicate technical information in an understandable way. The position is based at the hospital in Östersund and may be placed in a security class. This means that a security review and background check may be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act prior to employment.
QUALIFICATIONS
You are an electrical engineer with broad experience in the field (electricity, electrical power, lighting, and telecommunications). A minimum education equivalent to a high school engineer with electrical authorization A and experience in high voltage and substations is required. Experience in electrical operations management and backup power is advantageous.
You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. A B driver's license is required as the job involves travel within Region Jämtland Härjedalen.
