The unit for publicly funded travel is an important part of the Urban Development Office and Norrköping Municipality. Here, we work together to ensure accessible, legally secure, and smooth travel for our citizens.
Our unit consists of 13 engaged and helpful employees, 2 team leaders, and a unit manager, who together create a wonderful work environment characterized by good cooperation, responsibility, and a strong drive to deliver quality!
We are now looking for a service-oriented and development-focused Case Officer who wants to contribute their expertise to the team's ongoing work and development!
Your Responsibilities
As a Case Officer in the unit for publicly funded travel, you are a central contact point for citizens reaching out to us. Your mission is to meet them with professionalism, attentiveness, and a high level of service based on their individual needs. You are also responsible for handling cases in Infracontrol, where you receive, assess, and process cases or ensure they are forwarded to the correct function.
You contribute to quality and legal security by having an overarching responsibility for the unit's archive, where you work systematically with archiving, disposal, and organization of documents in accordance with the applicable information management plan.
Together with our other case officer, you assist the municipality's residents with questions regarding transport services, parking permits for the disabled, and national transport services. Within transport services, you primarily interact with elderly citizens who need support and guidance regarding applications, processing, and decisions, as well as simpler adjustments to authority decisions based on changing needs.
With us, you will be offered a varied and developing assignment where you can contribute to the development of the organization.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with a completed high school education and preferably post-secondary education in administration and economics. You have experience working with the Viva system and preferably in administrative work, authority exercise, and case processing. We also view knowledge of municipal processes positively.
Furthermore, you work independently and systematically, planning and prioritizing effectively even under higher workloads with a focus on quality and goals. Collaboration is a natural part of your working style, and you contribute with engagement and service in both internal and external contacts.
You are communicative and confident in meeting people, even in conversations that may be sensitive or where the citizen is in a difficult life situation. With a professional and respectful approach, you build trust. As a person, you are secure, flexible, and thrive in a dynamic environment where collaboration and development are a natural part of everyday life.
With us, you will encounter a stimulating and varied work environment where you can develop both professionally and personally, work closely with engaged colleagues, and influence the continued development of the organization.
