JENSEN School Kitchen is part of JENSEN Education and works daily to prepare, serve, and deliver food to our schools across the country.

In Stockholm, we have four production kitchens: Tungelsta (Haninge), Sickla, Kvarnsjön (Botkyrka), and Bro Mälarstrand. Together, they prepare approximately 6000 portions for 15 schools every day. We are now looking for temporary meal assistants, drivers, cooks, etc. who can step in at short notice when needed.

About the Position

Our meals are prepared in our production kitchen by chefs and are high-quality, nutritious, and varied. We have a sustainability mindset and actively work to make the best use of raw materials. In addition, you share our thoughts on the importance of safeguarding children's health and well-being, including actively working to reduce the amount of refined sugar they consume.

As part of our kitchen staff, you have overall responsibility for hygiene in the kitchen and the quality of the meals served at the school, which you take very seriously. The position mainly consists of assisting with food preparation in the kitchen, dishwashing, meal service, taking care of the dining room, cleaning, preparing salad buffets, etc.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is positive, service-minded, accustomed to a fast pace, and able to lift in the job. Furthermore, we see that you are punctual and have a high attendance rate. You are responsible and have great collaboration skills with both children and adults. It is of utmost importance that you are engaged and flexible in your work and have a positive and solution-oriented attitude as the job may involve rapid changes.

We consider it an advantage if you have a B driver's license and previous experience working in a kitchen.

Employment Type

The position is an intermittent employment as needed (hourly employment).
