Structab AB has a long history of developing electronics for use in tough environments. The company specializes in mobile data systems and combines hardware and software expertise to create robust, reliable solutions. Structab is a smaller company with 16 employees but has big ambitions. The headquarters is located at Slottsmöllan in Halmstad and production in Kungsbacka. As an IT technician at Structab, you will play a central role in the company's IT team. You will work with both the internal IT environment and with SDS – the system that enables operations for about 45 taxi centers across the country. You will also be responsible for the company's accounting center, which collects and forwards data to authorities. The role includes, among other things:• Managing and maintaining Structab's IT environments• Optimizing monitoring and secure login• Working with operational monitoring and real-time incident management• Configuring and administering servers (Windows Server 2019–2022, Linux)• Managing virtual environments (Hyper-V, Xen)• Contributing to improvements in information security (SOC, EDR)• Participating in standby and solving urgent technical challenges• Collaborating with colleagues, customers, and suppliers. It is a varied and responsible role where you will work both operationally and developmentally – with technical breadth, problem-solving, and direct impact on operational reliability.

You have a technical education of at least a couple of years and several years of experience in IT operations, networking, or server environments. You are confident in your skills but curious to develop further and enjoy working closely with technology.

We believe that you:• Have experience with Windows Server and Linux, including installation and configuration• Have a good understanding of virtual servers (Hyper-V, Xen)• Have basic knowledge of information security and current threat landscapes• Have experience in operational monitoring and real-time troubleshooting• Have some programming experience (Python, Powershell, Linux Shell, Node.js)• Have knowledge of or interest in Configuration Management, preferably Ansible. As a person, you are meticulous, solution-oriented, and persistent. You appreciate working in a structured manner and take responsibility for your tasks, while also being a team player who shares knowledge and ideas. You are communicative, comfortable in contact with customers and suppliers, and see the value in combining technology, service, and results.
