Service Assistant for Internal Service in Lycksele

Internal Service in Lycksele is a unit within Region Västerbotten's Service Organization. Here, about 50 employees are responsible for cleaning, waste sorting, internal logistics, reception, entrance services, patient transport, staff housing, café, and catering. We ensure that all cleaning is performed according to established guidelines and with high quality. Our vision is to be the best service partner in healthcare.

We are now looking for a service assistant for our operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a service assistant with us, you provide essential service and enable efforts that impact many. The workplace is characterized by great flexibility, customer focus, and a good community. You, as a service assistant, play a vital role in ensuring that care departments/clinics can provide safe and quality care. You will work closely with healthcare staff.

In the role of service assistant, you will perform care-related service tasks such as patient cleaning, cleaning after patients, and making beds. Other tasks included in the role are inventory management, replenishing consumables, and emptying laundry and sorted waste. You will also work with our inventory management system, BAMSE.

We are looking for someone who wants to work professionally with service to patients, visitors, and staff.

Working hours are mainly scheduled between 07:00-16:00 on weekdays.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in service work is advantageous, as is having a cleaning education. Computer skills are also beneficial, as well as experience with inventory ordering according to BAMSE. The work involves many contact points in a hospital environment, and high demands are placed on being service-oriented and flexible. In your work, you take personal responsibility and have the ability to organize and prioritize your tasks, as well as collaborate with other colleagues.

Being able to speak, read, and write in Swedish is necessary to understand and use instructions. Swedish D or equivalent knowledge is required.
