About the unit
The Swedish Armed Forces' Telecommunications and Information Systems Command, FMTIS, has the primary task of managing the operation and maintenance of command support systems at all readiness levels both nationally and internationally. The unit you will belong to is led from Örebro, but the work is located in Stockholm.
Main responsibilities
As a chef, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and cooking meals. You will also be responsible for training your subordinate cooks and more. The cooking will take place in a modern, well-equipped large kitchen. The position requires your ability to collaborate in a group under occasionally stressful conditions, as well as good independence and initiative.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Approved high school diploma
- Good ability to express yourself in spoken and written Swedish
- Driving license B
- No or mild pet allergy with medication
DESIRABLE
- Completed military basic training
- Culinary education or other equivalent education
- Previous experience working in large kitchens

Enjoying cooking is a prerequisite for thriving in this position. Creativity and a service-oriented approach are a winning concept. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability regarding both competence and previous experiences, as well as how we assess that your personality will fit into the intended workgroup.

Employment type: Permanent. The Swedish Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those who are not employed by the authority.
Employment rate: Full-time.
The position is civilian.
Work location: Stockholm. Business trips may occur, as well as work at irregular hours.
Start date and salary according to agreement.
