JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Environmental and Building Department is part of the Community Service Administration. The workplace has a very friendly atmosphere and camaraderie, where employees always support each other. If you have experience in Planning, Land, and Exploitation (MEX) and want to use your expertise to contribute to sustainable urban development and be part of a team that is passionate about community building, real estate, and good customer relations. We also offer you the opportunity to develop your network and be involved in creating new business opportunities for Uppvidinge municipality. We are looking for someone with broad experience and a strong interest in various stages of physical planning, from densification, urban development, and infrastructure projects, analytical work in early stages to cross-administrative development work. The breadth of projects and the development in Uppvidinge municipality make the work as a planning architect with us both varied and challenging. It is therefore advantageous if you have special interests that can complement the Community Service Administration's overall competence and ambition to plan for a well-designed living environment in Uppvidinge municipality.

• Project manager in smaller and larger land development issues including financial follow-up, timelines, etc.
• Conduct project preparations, including reviewing and analyzing project documentation.
• Respond to citizen inquiries and carry out subsequent actions.
• EBH (Act as the principal in remediation projects of contaminated land).
• Purchase and sale of properties and land areas.
• Property valuation.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are educated in Community Building such as planning architect, architect, landscape architect, or other education that we assess as equivalent. You have at least 3 years of experience as a planning architect with management responsibility. To succeed in the role, we see that you have experience in driving and managing your own complex projects as well as experience from working in the municipal sector. Knowledge of current planning and building legislation such as the Planning and Building Act and the Environmental Code is important, as well as a personal interest in current community issues related to the assignment.
