Our Operations
Clinical Chemistry and Pharmacology (KKF) is part of the Academic Laboratory area. We conduct highly specialized diagnostics around the clock and offer qualified guidance in chemistry and pharmacology. The operation handles approximately 6,500 test tubes per weekday. Our analyses are fast, quality-assured, and designed to support healthcare processes as well as promote research and development.
We also provide support to patient-centered activities in both inpatient and outpatient care, as well as sample collection during office hours at the Academic Hospital and at the laboratory at the Hospital in Enköping. Approximately 140 employees work within KKF, and we strive to be an attractive workplace characterized by professionalism, commitment, and good leadership.
Your Assignment
As a biomedical analyst at Clinical Chemistry and Pharmacology, you will be offered a qualified and varied job in a high-tech laboratory environment. The tasks include independent laboratory work, including pre-analytical work, assessment, and technical approval of analyses in areas such as clinical chemistry, hematology, and coagulation. The role also involves responsibility for contributing to diagnostics, education, information, and quality assurance within the operation.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a licensed biomedical analyst. Experience in clinical chemistry or other laboratory medicine competencies that the employer deems relevant is meritorious.
You have good collaboration skills, a humble attitude, and are happy to share your knowledge. The work involves varying pace and requires the ability to quickly adapt to new tasks.
Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form is a requirement for the position as the work involves communication, documentation, and quality assurance.
Personal suitability and the ability to quickly adapt to the work will be given great importance.
Your Competence
We are looking for someone who is confident in their role, who plans, organizes, and prioritizes their work effectively. In addition, you are meticulous, work well with others, and communicate clearly and effectively.
We Offer
We offer two temporary positions for about a year, with the possibility of extension. Start date will be agreed upon. A probationary period may be applied.
After completed training, on-call work (evenings and weekends) will be included according to a schedule. Regular work during inconvenient hours will result in a fixed salary increase as well as compensation per inconvenient shift, in addition to regular overtime and on-call pay.
