In Medical Technology within the Hospitals in the West, engineers and technicians work together in various technology groups. Our primary task is to ensure that the equipment is safe to use for patients and staff. Our other customers today are primarily Kungälv Hospital, Alingsås Hospital, Angered Local Hospital, Högsbo Local Hospital, and Primary and Regional Health in our catchment area.

We are looking for someone who is outgoing, has a good sense of service, and well-developed collaboration skills. It is important that you can take on tasks of varying nature, that you are used to working independently, and that you work well in collaboration with customers, suppliers, and other parties such as property management and IT organizations. We highly value responsibility and quality awareness.

What we offer you

We are currently looking for a replacement when one of our engineers in radiology has sought another position. The position involves responsible and varied work with medical technology equipment within radiology. This also includes support for Sectra RIS/PACS. Depending on competence and potential, it may include, among other things, corrective and preventive maintenance as well as being responsible for delivery inspections of new equipment.

You will be primarily based in Kungälv, but travel in the job occurs as many tasks are performed on-site at the four hospitals. Possible future tasks may also include regional purchasing work, training of healthcare personnel, and MT representation in construction projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent level, preferably with a focus on medical technology, radiology. We want you to have practical skills and experience in technical service work, preferably within medical technology, a good ability to work independently, and good communication skills in both spoken and written form. You will be responsible for the medical technology equipment within radiology on all SV's properties but will receive assistance from your colleagues in Kungälv and Alingsås.

It is an advantage if you have previous experience with radiological equipment as well as broader general competence within the MT field and are good with computers and networks. It is also important that you can work with a strong customer focus, are good at documenting, and see opportunities to collaborate with colleagues remotely.

Language skills:

• Swedish; fluent in spoken and written form
• English; sufficient knowledge to understand service manuals and courses

A valid driver's license (B) is required.
