Job Responsibilities

The municipal primary care in Lilla Edet is looking for Registered Nurses and nursing students for summer positions. As a nurse, you can choose to work daytime or day/evening/weekend or night shifts. As a nursing student, we offer you daytime work.

The work in the municipal primary care involves working both in special housing and in the individual's home. The job requires good communication skills as we work closely with both internal and external actors. The goal is for the individual who chooses to stay at home or chooses to live in special housing to receive the necessary interventions for good and safe care.

Experience working with dementia, palliative care, psychiatry, emergency care, home care, in special housing, or in municipal primary care is an advantage. The work is varied with standard nursing tasks within health and medical care: wound dressings, injections, dialysis, infusions, management of central lines, end-of-life care, etc.

The position includes responsibility for daily systematic planning work, follow-ups, and collaboration with other professionals.

We work with Collaborative Healthcare, which includes 1177 assignments, assistance assignments, and IVPA assignments.

LifeCare HSL is used as the medical record system. Other tools include SAMSA and NPÖ for information transfer between healthcare providers, as well as Pascal and Appva/MCSS. Nursing students work according to delegated tasks from nurses according to routine.

Qualifications

Educational requirements:

• Registered Nurse or nursing student (at least 4 semesters)
• Preference for experience in dementia, psychiatry, emergency care in elderly care or home care.

Requirements for interest and development: You enjoy working with people, are attentive to others' needs, have a good demeanor, and possess good collaboration skills. You are positive and see opportunities, are flexible, meticulous, and take great responsibility. You are willing to develop the operations and have good planning skills. You should be able to work in a team.

Practical conditions and other requirements:

• You should be able to work independently and have good decision-making ability. A driver's license is required.
• Computer skills are required.
• Experience with LifeCare HSL, Appva/MCSS, SAMSA, Pascal, and NPÖ is an advantage.
• Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
• You need to bring a current extract from the criminal record, which you can order yourself from the police's website.
