Professionals Nord is now looking for a Project Manager in 5G and digital infrastructure for a large company in Boden. Here you will play a key role in the planning and implementation of modern mobile networks in a complex and high-tech environment.

Information about the position

As a Project Manager, you will be a key person in the work of planning and implementing a secure, robust, and future-proof digital infrastructure consisting of mobile networks (5G), wifi, fixed networks, and data centers. You will belong to the digital organization on site and work closely with both internal teams and external suppliers.

The business is in an intensive phase of construction and expansion, which means you will have a central role in driving several parallel projects from planning to execution.

Professionals Nord is now recruiting a Project Manager in 5G and digital infrastructure for a large company operating in Boden. The assignment begins as a 12-month consultancy rental, with the ambition to subsequently transition to employment with the client company – provided that the collaboration works well. Responsibilities

The position of project manager is varied, with typical tasks including:

• Developing and being responsible for clear project plans, roadmaps, and timelines
• Leading and coordinating resources, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure delivery according to time, budget, and scope
• Being the main contact person for both internal and external stakeholders
• Coordinating activities and timelines with external suppliers and acting as the spider in the web between different parties
• Identifying risks, developing action plans, and ensuring progress in the projects
• Planning and leading cross-functional project groups and being responsible for their deliveries
• Driving a culture characterized by collaboration, efficiency, and continuous improvement

We are looking for someone who

• Has several years of experience in project management within telecommunications, preferably related to 5G or radio access networks
• Has a good technical understanding of mobile networks, core networks, communication services, and associated equipment
• Has experience with larger rollout or implementation projects with many dependencies
• Has an academic education in IT, engineering, or equivalent
• Is structured, proactive, and thrives in a changing and complex project environment
• Is accustomed to follow-up, reporting, and documentation
• Has a natural ability to engage, motivate, and build trust in cross-functional teams
• Communicates fluently in English and can adapt your message to both technical and non-technical audiences
