Consulting Unit Manager at Combitech in Luleå

We continue to grow within Combitech in Luleå and are now looking for a Consulting Unit Manager who wants to lead their own consulting unit within our division of Autonomy and Connectivity. The role of Consulting Unit Manager is for those who wish to further develop a technical interest and area of expertise combined with a leadership role where your employees work in various roles primarily within software development.

Your Role as Consulting Unit Manager

In the role of Consulting Unit Manager, you will have traditional personnel responsibility with a clear focus on the personal development of your employees. You will be part of the management team of the results unit together with the results unit manager and other consulting unit managers, where you work towards common goals and share responsibility for the unit's results and long-term development. Here, you will meet a humble and supportive management team that values joy at work, collaboration, and balance in life.

The assignment is both varied and developing. The role offers great flexibility and allows you to shape your work based on your experiences, interests, and what motivates you and your team. In addition to your leadership, you will also work as a consultant on assignments, which keeps you close to the technology while continuing to grow in your leadership role.

Our clients range from defense and defense industry to government agencies and private companies. The nature of assignments varies over time depending on available projects and your own preferences, and we always strive to find assignments that suit you.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who wants to grow in their leadership and is motivated to create engagement and development in others. With a technical university or college degree and several years of work experience, you have built a sense of security in your profession. You are already comfortable in a leadership role or see leadership as a natural next step in your career.

You have experience in a technical area where you want to continue to develop as a consultant, whether your strength lies in project management, business development, or more technical assignments. For us, the most important thing is that you have a desire to combine your technical knowledge with engaged and present leadership.

As a Consulting Unit Manager, you will be a central cultural bearer at Combitech. We highly value personal qualities and are looking for someone who is engaged, attentive, and has a strong sense of responsibility. Since the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you are required to undergo and be approved in a security clearance with a background check.
