The Role of Nursing Assistant

As a nursing assistant, you will work at DUVA – our day surgery and recovery unit – where you care for patients before and after surgery. You contribute to creating safety and good care throughout the care process, for both adults and children. Your tasks include preparing patients for surgery, assisting with various forms of blocks and anesthesia, and monitoring the patient's recovery after the procedure. Handling medical technical equipment, inventory management, and working with sterile goods are also part of your daily work.

The Operations and Intensive Care Clinic is one of the hospital's largest clinics with about 450 employees in intensive care, surgical care, sterile technical operations, and an administrative unit. Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant or studying to become a nurse or doctor. Experience in emergency care or inpatient care is an advantage.

The employment is a summer temporary position covering the period from week 25 to week 33. Your preferences regarding the schedule and which weeks you would like to work will be discussed during the interview.
