The Role of Midwife

As a midwife, you work in a team, have exciting tasks, and meet women at all stages of life. At our clinic, we care about the overall experience and focus on the parents throughout the entire care chain. Daily work includes managing both planned and emergency care.

Your Future Workplace

Our clinic consists of Delivery, Maternity, Maternity reception, Obstetric reception, Ultrasound reception, Breastfeeding reception, Specialist maternal care, AURORA operations, Gynecological care unit and reception, as well as Women's health care and youth reception. As a summer substitute, you will work at the Women's Clinic's reception, Care Unit, Women's health care, or Delivery/Maternity.

When you work with us in the summer, you contribute to good and patient-safe care. Your tasks vary depending on the department and your competence. During a possible interview, we will tell you more about our operations and the tasks involved.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a licensed midwife. We value that you are a secure and responsible person who appreciates teamwork. It means a lot to us that you have a positive attitude towards both tasks and colleagues, and together we create good and safe care with the patient in focus. Personal suitability is of great importance.

Orientation will take place in the spring and will be tailored to your conditions. If you enjoy working with us, there are good opportunities for a permanent position that involves rotation between two of our units.
