The Role of Medical Administrator

Your main tasks will include medical documentation and other administrative duties, such as handling referrals, booking and calling patients, and reception work. You will have phone contact with patients and referrers and collaborate with colleagues in the unit. There are great opportunities to influence the development of administrative work and to grow in the role of medical administrator. The work is varied and stimulating, where your skills are utilized and challenged.

You will be part of a group of eight medical administrators, where one colleague also serves as the administrative coordinator. We offer an introduction tailored to your previous experiences.

You will be offered a full-time position with a start date according to agreement. We will discuss your working hours together to ensure they are suitable for the operations, you, and your colleagues.

Your Future Workplace

The Rehabilitation Medicine Clinic is a regional operation. In Jönköping, rehabilitation is provided for patients in need of inpatient rehabilitation or day rehabilitation. In Värnamo and Nässjö, day rehabilitation is available, and in Nässjö, there is also insurance medicine operations. Organizationally, the Rehabilitation Medicine Clinic belongs to the area of Psychiatry, Rehabilitation, and Diagnostics in Region Jönköping County. Read more about our operations here.

Since 2006, the clinic has been accredited by the American organization CARF, which means that the clinic is continuously quality reviewed. The clinic constantly strives to be at the forefront, maintain high quality, and actively improve operations. Development occurs transprofessionally and in collaboration with others such as primary care, municipalities, patients, relatives, and patient associations.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is a trained medical administrator. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language and the ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing. Experience working in Cosmic and an interest in IT issues is an advantage. It is also important for us that you dare to think innovatively and forward to contribute to the development of new working methods.

Our work is characterized by teamwork, so it is important that you have good collaboration skills, are engaged, and understand the importance of good communication. You have a professional approach and find it easy to structure and plan your work. Our work environment is important and should be characterized by dialogue and well-being. Therefore, it is essential that you have a positive attitude and a flexible approach towards both patients and colleagues to contribute to a good atmosphere. Personal suitability will be highly valued.
