The Role of Service Staff
When you work as a service staff member with us in Service, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of tasks. The job involves:
- daily cleaning operations at places such as Ryhov Hospital, health centers, and other facilities of Region Jönköping County.
You may also work with:
- patient transport
- inventory management
- meal management in care departments
Your work is an important contribution to both safety and comfort for patients, visitors, and staff.
For the summer of 2026, we are hiring several seasonal workers. The summer is divided into two periods: weeks 26–29 and weeks 30–33. When you apply, please indicate if you can work one or both periods. We view it positively if you can work both periods. You will receive an introduction before your period starts, and there may be opportunities for continued work after the summer.
Working hours follow a schedule and can be on both weekdays and weekends. Shifts can start as early as 5:30 AM or end as late as 11:00 PM, with times in between also occurring. You need to be at least 18 years old to work in Service.

Your Profile
To thrive as service staff, it is important that you:
- are service-oriented, easy to collaborate with, and have a communicative manner
- take great responsibility for your tasks, are self-driven, and hardworking
- are meticulous and maintain a high quality in your work
- are loyal and have a flexible and positive attitude
- understand people's differences and various cultural backgrounds.
It is important that you master the Swedish language in both speech and writing, as good and clear communication is crucial. You will be in daily contact with healthcare staff, colleagues, and patients. Previous experience in cleaning, service, and meal management is viewed positively. Personal suitability is highly valued.
