The Role of Service Staff

When you work with us during the summer, you will have the opportunity to work in a wide service area with varying tasks in close collaboration with others. You will work with different tasks within the service area, including daily cleaning operations, meal management in care departments, patient transport, and inventory management within various operations in Region Jönköping County.

With us, you will have the opportunity to work both independently and in a team where we collaborate and support each other to provide the best possible service to our customers.

You will have working hours according to a schedule that can be assigned on weekdays and weekends, from early morning to evening. Before the summer of 2026, we will hire several temporary summer workers, and the positions are for fixed-term assignments during the holiday period weeks 25-33, with a possible extension after the summer.

Your Profile

This summer, we are looking for several engaged employees who want to work as service staff with us within Service. We are looking for you who want to work with cleaning and service in a workplace that values good quality and close collaboration. If you have training in cleaning or previous experience in cleaning work, it is an advantage, but it is not a requirement. It is also important that you have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form to understand instructions and communicate with colleagues and others you meet in your work.

To work within Service, you must be at least 18 years old. For those of you studying, for example, the health and care program in high school or who are at the beginning of your university education in a health profession, this can be an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience working in a healthcare environment and with Region Jönköping County as an employer. We would also like you to have the opportunity to start working hours before the summer.

You take great responsibility for your tasks, are self-driven, and hardworking. It is also important that you are thorough and maintain a high quality in your work.
