June Waste & Environment AB is an environmental and waste company owned by the municipalities of Jönköping, Habo, and Mullsjö. Since 2018, we have been responsible for waste collection, sludge emptying, and the operation of sorting yards for residents in the three municipalities.

Workplace Description

Today, we have about 60 waste drivers who collect household waste in the three municipalities of Jönköping, Habo, and Mullsjö. Over the summer, we need reinforcement. Garden waste and waste collection from holiday homes will also be added. Most importantly, our regular drivers need to take their well-deserved summer break.

Job Responsibilities

As a waste collector in our collection department, you will have a varied job where you work both independently and together with other colleagues. Together with a waste truck driver, you will collect and check household waste, primarily from private individuals. You will be walking for large parts of the day and should be prepared to pitch in. Our vehicles must be intact and clean, and together with your colleague, you will be responsible for washing and checking the waste truck daily.

We are looking for someone who can work during weeks 26-33. The workday starts at 06:00 at Torsvik and lasts until 14:30.

Qualifications

As a waste collector with us, we want you to be meticulous, take responsibility, and enjoy keeping things tidy around you. Furthermore, you are a positive person who contributes to a good atmosphere in the group and interacts with our customers in a friendly manner. To work with us, you must be at least 18 years old.

A Class B driver's license is an advantage.
