The Role of Service Staff

As service staff at Närservice, you will work with daily cleaning in healthcare facilities, such as Värnamo Hospital and health centers. You may also work with inventory management and meal handling in care departments. The work is practical and varied and is an important part of creating a safe and pleasant healthcare environment.

We are looking for summer substitutes for the period of weeks 25–33, with the possibility to start working hours even before the summer. The working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends. Some shifts start early in the morning (from 6:00 AM) or end in the evening (until 8:00 PM). For the position, you must be at least 18 years old.

Your Profile

To be considered for the summer job, you need to be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, as you will have daily contact with healthcare staff, colleagues, and patients. If you have previous experience in cleaning, service, or meal handling, we see that as a positive. For work in our outer areas, such as Gnosjö, Gislaved, Rydaholm, and Smålandsstenar, a driver's license is required unless you live in the area. Personal suitability is highly valued.

You have a good sense of service and a communicative manner. You collaborate well with others, take responsibility for your tasks, and work both independently and diligently. You are meticulous and quality-conscious, loyal to your assignment, and have a flexible and positive attitude towards work. You also have an understanding of people's differences and various cultural backgrounds.
