The Role of Nursing Assistant/Care Assistant

As a nursing assistant at the ENT clinic, you will have a varied and stimulating job where no day is the same. You will be part of a wonderful and competent team where you will receive guidance from more experienced colleagues and your supervisor.

Your work primarily involves assisting the doctors. You will coordinate patient flows and ensure that the patient's visit becomes a well-functioning link in the care process, and you will perform other nursing assistant tasks.

The summer position as a nursing assistant/care assistant is a temporary full-time employment (daytime on weekdays) during weeks 25-32. It is an advantage if you can work many of – or all – the weeks. A joint regional introduction will take place in addition to these weeks.

Your Future Workplace

The ENT clinic is a county clinic that takes care of patients with diseases and injuries in the ear, nose, and throat area. We operate in Eksjö/Nässjö, Jönköping, and Värnamo. The clinic consists of several different units, including ENT outpatient clinics, sleep apnea clinics, audiology clinics, and a hearing technology department. At Ryhov County Hospital in Jönköping, we also have our acute operations and inpatient care facilities. We are a total of about 100 employees. Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant or will be by June 2025 at the latest. Another option is that you are studying to become a nurse or doctor. In that case, we would like you to have completed your third semester, but individual assessment can occur earlier.

To enjoy the summer job, you need to like having a lot of patient contact. You take responsibility for your work and can easily adapt to new conditions. You work well with others, and you have a desire and ability to help others. Your work approach is solution-oriented, and you have a positive attitude towards your work. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Please be careful to include any internships and work experience in your application. It is also important that you attach your diploma. If you have not yet completed your studies, please attach a LADOK extract or other certificate showing completed courses.

As of July 1, 2023, the title of nursing assistant is a protected title, so you will need to indicate in your application if you have proof of a protected title. If you currently have a permanent position as a nursing assistant and do not have proof of a protected title, please attach a certificate of your permanent position in your application to continue to hold the title of nursing assistant.
