We are now looking for summer substitutes for two of our departments at the Children's Clinic, the neonatal unit and the children's ward. The role of nursing assistant/care assistant
At the Children's Clinic, children aged 0-18 years with all types of diagnoses are cared for. Your tasks at the Children's Clinic include seeing the child and the child's needs and supporting parents in being part of the child's care. The work is varied and offers an opportunity for both breadth and depth in your professional development.

Your future workplace
The Children's Clinic has about 190 employees in the professional categories of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, care administrators, and educators.
In the Neonatal Unit, premature and sick newborns from the entire region are cared for. Approximately 10% of all children born are admitted to the neonatal unit, which corresponds to about 400 children per year for us. The neonatal unit is directly adjacent to the hospital's delivery department, with which we have a close collaboration. Work in the neonatal unit ranges from intensive care to work in our family unit.
In the children's ward, we work with integrated pediatric care, meaning that all children aged 0-18 years receive their care here. Specialists in areas such as surgery, orthopedics, and ENT come to the ward to round on their patients, where we have an environment adapted for children.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant or studying to become a nurse or doctor. We prefer that you have completed your third semester, but individual assessment can occur earlier. You have a strong interest in the best interests of the child, with the needs of the child and family in focus. To ensure good summer planning, we view positively if you can work weeks 25-33 during the summer. Introduction will take place before these weeks.

As the title of nursing assistant has been protected since July 1, 2023, you will need to indicate in your application if you have proof of the protected title. If you currently have a permanent position as a nursing assistant and do not have proof of the protected title, we ask you to attach a certificate of your permanent position in your application to continue to hold the title of nursing assistant.
