The role of nursing assistant/care assistant/attendant

Your work includes planning and carrying out basic psychiatric care and observation tasks. You participate in meetings and conversations regarding the patient and report patient observations during rounds. Your task will be to meet the patients' personal needs with function-adapted and low-arousal responses. Utilize the individual's own resources to maintain and regain optimal health. Motivate, inform, and support the patient during their care period. We work with a contact person system, which also includes having contact with the patient's relatives, caregivers, and partners.

Your future workplace

The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is a county clinic that has a joint unit, One Path In (EVI), for telephone advice and triage to child and adolescent health as well as child and adolescent psychiatry. The clinic has three outpatient clinics: in Nässjö, Värnamo, and Jönköping. These provide specialized care to children and young people with mental health issues in 13 municipalities. The clinic also has a shared care department located in Jönköping that provides inpatient care, as well as an anorexia unit for outpatient and day care.

In total, the county clinic currently has about 150 employees in various professions. Together, we meet children and adolescents aged 0-17 with moderate to severe psychiatric conditions.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant, attendant, or studying to become a nurse or doctor. We prefer that you have completed the third semester, but individual assessment can be made earlier.

To have the best possible summer planning, we view positively if you can work period 1 - week 26-29 and/or period 2 week 30-33 during the summer. Introduction will take place outside of these weeks.
