Stockholm Center for Eating Disorders (SCÄ) is one of the largest specialist clinics in the world for patients with eating disorders and accepts patients of all ages.
We have a well-developed operation with digital care, outpatient care, intensive outpatient care, day care, inpatient care, and nationally specialized care for both adults, children, and adolescents. Today we have over 280 employees. Our outpatient and day care services are located in Södermalm, and our inpatient care is at Danderyd Hospital.

Job Responsibilities:
As a specialist physician with us, you will be offered a varied and stimulating job with good opportunities for development and subspecialization. Regular medical work with somatic and psychiatric assessments and treatment. There is the possibility of placement in both inpatient and outpatient care based on interest, and a shared position is also possible. You will participate in patient safety work, treatment conferences, and method development.
A large part of the work is team-based, so we see it as a given that you enjoy working together with others for both the patients' and the organization's best interests. If you are someone interested in eating disorders and want to develop in the field, you will thrive with us!
There are some opportunities to work remotely on certain days, e.g., digital patient visits.
Qualifications:
You are a specialist physician in psychiatry, have good diagnostic skills, and an interest in teaching and mentoring less experienced colleagues. Experience working with patients with eating disorders is an advantage but not a requirement – we have a strong educational organization and many experienced specialists. If you have an interest in teaching or research, there are good opportunities to further develop that. Regular continuing education is seen as necessary to maintain and develop your own competence. Knowledge of CBT-E or FBT is an advantage, as well as somatic competence. Experience with the Take Care journal system is an advantage.

Employment Type:
Permanent employment. Full-time, 40 hours/week. On-call and standby duty are included in the position.
Training & Learning Opportunities:
To maintain competence, we offer various types of competence-enhancing activities a couple of times a year. We also have Wednesday lectures with current and exciting themes.

- register control is applied before a decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching instructions for register control during employment.
- employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
- good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required, in addition to Swedish professional license. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
