About us

We are now looking for a clinical supervisor for the University Dental Care and the clinic for dental radiology who wants to participate in the education of new dentists and dental hygienists. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with our curious and positive students. We offer a stimulating work environment with supportive and knowledgeable colleagues.

Your role

As a clinical supervisor, you will primarily teach and guide students in the undergraduate dental and dental hygiene programs in dental radiology. In the long term, the position may include course responsibility for the courses you teach. The position also includes clinical duties at the home clinic or at the University Dental Care's general dental clinic, the Teacher Clinic.

Teaching and supervision as a clinical supervisor may also occur in other clinical and preclinical subjects within the two educational programs. You have good opportunities to influence and contribute to the development of the radiological services.

Who are you?

Requirements:

• Licensed dentist (issued by the National Board of Health and Welfare)
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form

Meritorious:

• Experience in teaching and supervising students in the subject of dental radiology
• Previous research experience resulting in publications or dissertations
• Clinical experience from a specialist dental clinic in the subject of dental radiology
• Pedagogical experience

You should be pedagogically skilled and have good social competence, as well as value good relationships with colleagues, students, and other staff. Other important qualities for this position are to be patient, flexible, proactive, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
