Do you want to make a difference and contribute to children's well-being and success in school? Are you engaged, relationship-building, solution-oriented, stable, and structured? Then we are looking for you. As a school psychologist in Sigtuna Municipality, you will have the opportunity to develop alongside a group of psychologists, other colleagues within student health, and with principals, teachers, and other staff at the schools. As a psychologist in school, you play an important role in preventive and health-promoting work. Your tasks are varied, such as participating in the student health team's (EHT) work, guiding staff, and conducting psychological assessments. You will receive qualified external supervision together with other psychologists and also have a manager with a background as a psychologist and over 30 fantastic colleagues within the central child and student health.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• As a school psychologist, you support schools in the preventive and promoting field to ensure that students feel good and achieve the best possible learning outcomes. This involves varied tasks.
• You will be the contact psychologist for several schools and regularly participate in EHT where you will receive your cases. The principal is the client in the daily work.
• You will conduct psychological assessments with the question of intellectual disability.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is:

• A licensed psychologist.
• Has experience working as a psychologist in a child-focused setting.
• It is an advantage if you have worked in schools.
• You are good at planning and organizing your work well, completing what you have started, and meeting deadlines.
• You handle stress constructively and maintain a good mood under pressure and setbacks.
• You take initiative in social contexts, step forward, and easily create new relationships.
• You work to find solutions to arising problems.
• It is an advantage if you have a B driver's license.
