Mio is looking for an Operational Buyer

Mio is always seeking the best employees. Every day, we strive to create a world-class customer experience together and take new steps towards our vision – to be the largest in Sweden for furniture by 2030 and to be present in every room, in every home. We know that proud employees who enjoy their work make a difference for both colleagues and customers. Therefore, we offer a workplace where teamwork, passion, business acumen, and knowledge are our guiding stars. With clear leadership, shared goals, and significant individual responsibility, we create the future of Mio together – a place where both people and ideas can grow.

Responsibilities

To further strengthen our supply chain department, we are now recruiting for the role of Operational Buyer.

The position includes practical tasks such as analyzing forecasts, placing orders to central warehouses and stores, and ensuring good availability by planning and optimizing inventory levels. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining sustainable supplier relationships and monitoring their performance to ensure high delivery precision and optimal flows.

The role also involves contributing to more long-term and strategic issues. The aim is to ensure an efficient and optimized supply chain, while you have a good understanding of our business goals and actively support the organization by making decisions in line with these.

In this role, you are an important representative of Mio in nurturing and building business relationships with suppliers worldwide. We are convinced that well-functioning relationships, careful monitoring of deliveries, and clear measurements and analyses create the best conditions for high delivery reliability in our direct flows.

Qualifications

We see that you have experience in the supply chain process with a good understanding of flows and preferably have made your own purchases based on forecasts and analysis. Relevant education in supply chain, purchasing, logistics, and/or economics, as well as experience from similar roles and retail work, is advantageous.

You possess excellent analytical skills, with both the patience and precision to see details and understand cause-and-effect relationships without losing sight of the whole.

We see that you are structured, have a high level of system understanding, and are accustomed to working in both business and supply chain systems. Excellent knowledge of Excel is a requirement, and familiarity with M3 and Relex is advantageous.

In your role, you will also have many collaborative relationships within your team, the company, and suppliers, which places high demands on your communication skills and open attitude. Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is therefore a requirement for this position.

The position is located at our beautiful office in Tibro, and ongoing selection will be applied.

Union representatives can be reached via the HR department.
