Project Manager for Water and Sewerage Networks

Here, you will be involved in driving the development of several municipalities' water and sewer infrastructure in projects where you are involved every step of the way, from feasibility study to final inspection. About the Role

As a Project Manager at SBVT, you will be responsible for leading projects through the entire process, from feasibility study to final inspection. You will manage several projects simultaneously, with varying scopes and durations, and work closely with both internal resources and external consultants and contractors.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Drive and follow up on projects through all phases - feasibility study, design, implementation, and closure.
• Be responsible for budget, scheduling, and ongoing follow-up.
• Prepare project descriptions and technical specifications - independently or in collaboration with consultants.
• Participate in procurement and call-offs within existing framework agreements.
• Contribute to the development of routines, processes, and working methods, and be involved in creating a project module for the organization.

In this role, you will work on a wide variety of projects, from transmission pipelines and larger expansion projects to remediation and renewal projects in existing environments. You will report to the Operations Manager for Pipe Networks and be one of three people working on projects within the pipe network at SBVT.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a relevant post-secondary education or equivalent knowledge gained through experience. You have good knowledge of water and sewerage systems and previous experience in project management. The position requires knowledge of contract law and industry standards. We prefer that you have BAS-P and BAS-U certifications and experience with call-offs in public procurement. A valid driver's license (B) is required.
