We are now looking for an Operational Buyer

To strengthen our purchasing department in Helsingborg, we are seeking a driven and structured Operational Buyer. You will play a key role in the company's material supply in close collaboration with production and other departments to ensure the right quality, price, and delivery precision.

Your main responsibilities:

• Build and develop supplier relationships, conduct price analyses, contract negotiations, and contract writing.
• Ensure and monitor deliveries, handle deviations, and follow up on lead times.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers for new and existing products, raw materials, and components.
• Conduct supplier assessments and handle claims in collaboration with the quality department.
• Place purchase orders and ensure timely delivery within budget.
• Verify invoices against purchase orders for correct payments.
• Manage supplier issues and resolve any conflicts.
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate orders as needed.
• Work cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Sales, Technology, and Finance.

You may also represent purchasing in various projects, drive your own improvement initiatives, and provide support in purchasing and supply chain-related matters.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is currently working as a Purchasing Manager or Operational Buyer.
• Is analytical, structured, and communicative.
• Has experience leading and conducting contract negotiations.
• Has experience from the manufacturing industry, preferably within an international corporation.
• Has relevant education in technology and purchasing, for example, a degree in engineering with a focus on mechanics.
• Has good experience with business systems, such as Oracle.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
