Welcome to E.ON – and become part of the energy transition. In collaboration with our customers and partners, we ensure that electricity and heat are produced, used, and recycled smarter. If you have passion and believe in the power of working together, E.ON is the place for you.

About us

At Operations Stockholm, we work closely together every day to ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable energy production. The operations team consists of shift teams, daytime technicians, and specialists, where we support each other and find solutions together. The culture is characterized by a lack of prestige, helpfulness, and a family-like atmosphere – we believe in collaborating, sharing knowledge, and developing together.

Your role You will have the opportunity to join an organization with the latest technology and a company that has a forward-thinking approach to development. In the role of operations technician, you will primarily work with optimizing our production facilities under the guidance of the operations coordinator and together with the rest of the operations team.

You will be based at our recycling facility in Högbytorp in Upplands-Bro, northwest of Stockholm. Daily operations include performing FLT and OP UH. You will be responsible for the work permit process with shutdowns and startups, as well as testing of objects. Furthermore, you will ensure that our safety, quality, environmental, and work environment goals are maintained and developed in accordance with established strategies, as well as work with reporting on operations and maintenance. The position also involves acting as a supportive function to the on-duty shift at the facility.

Your duties include updating and ensuring accurate instructions, actively participating in improvement work and projects, and supporting maintenance work at the facility.

During the summer period, audits are conducted where you, as the representative of operations, collaborate with the maintenance organization.

The working hours are daytime, but there may be some deviations in special cases.

Your experience We are looking for someone with a degree in operations technology or equivalent, along with experience working in similar production facilities. For the role, we prefer that you are a certified boiler operator. A good process understanding is important for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing the operation of our facilities.

Experience in district heating production from solid fuel plants is an advantage. We also value your ability to contribute to a close and solution-oriented collaboration within the team, where you share knowledge, listen to others, and actively support common goals. You are responsible, have an interest in innovation and improvement work, and work systematically with safety as a natural and obvious part of everyday life, both for your own and others' safety.

A valid B driver's license is required for the position.

What is it like with us? You will be part of a team where job satisfaction, collaboration, and responsibility go hand in hand. We help each other, share knowledge, and value a safe and unpretentious work environment. Your manager, Daniel Ehnemark, leads with attentiveness, care, and great trust. He believes in freedom with responsibility while being clear about expectations and wants everyone to feel secure in their tasks. He actively works for an inclusive culture where ideas are welcomed, change is seen as something positive, and every employee can thrive.

At E.ON, we actively work with inclusion - it is crucial to drive the energy transition forward. We want you to feel welcome! We strive to create a safe work environment with meaningful tasks and good opportunities for development. We continuously challenge ourselves to create a welcoming workplace, where we hope you will thrive.

We work for a more sustainable energy society, but it is equally important that our employees have the conditions to care for their personal sustainability. Therefore, we offer good benefits to ensure your well-being and a good balance between work and leisure. Some of these include a shorter working time that is higher than the industry standard, health insurance, free healthcare, and more!

Warmly welcome to apply and join us on the path to a sustainable society! The application deadline is 2026-01-11.
