You will primarily work with five different preschools in Bjärred under the leadership of two principals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a custodian with us, you play an important role in creating a safe and well-functioning environment for both children and staff. You ensure that our preschools are safe and well-maintained every day.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Responsible for daily supervision and maintenance of the property and outdoor environment.
• Perform simple repairs and maintenance of premises and furnishings.
• Ensure that systematic fire protection work is followed and documented.
• Participate in workplace safety efforts and contribute to a safe environment for children and staff.
• Order materials and manage contact with suppliers as needed.
• Be a support for educators and staff in practical matters.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with at least a vocational high school education, preferably with a focus on property maintenance. Experience as a custodian in a similar environment, such as a preschool or school, is an advantage.

You have good knowledge of workplace safety and systematic fire protection work. The role requires you to be self-driven, structured, and able to plan and organize your work effectively.

We value a relational approach – you enjoy collaborating and building good relationships with both colleagues and educators. Since you work in an environment where children are the focus, it is important that you have a safe and respectful demeanor.
