Main Responsibilities:

In the role of Mechanic, you will work daily with tasks such as:

• Preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and renovations at Ovako's facilities in Boxholm
• Troubleshooting through scheduled reading, replacing faulty components in hydraulic/pneumatic systems
• Welding using various methods such as arc and MIG welding
• Responsible for keeping the workshop machines in good condition, maintaining order and cleanliness in the work area.
• Participate in projects as required.
• Follow safety and order regulations, as well as our quality, environmental, and energy management systems.
• Maintain good communication with other staff
• Actively work in the maintenance system API

Desired Qualifications:

• Mechanical/vehicle engineering education or equivalent experience in the field
• Knowledge of hydraulics/pneumatics
• Welding skills
• Overhead crane license – Forklift license
• Basic computer skills
