About the Company

Micatrone is a family-owned company founded in 1964, developing, manufacturing, and selling measurement and control equipment within the business areas of Ventilation and Heating. The office is located in Solna, and the company employs about 10 core staff, along with several resellers and subcontractors. Micatrone has long been an established name in its niche and is now looking for someone who wants to grow into the future with the company.

As part of their forward development, we are now looking for a junior assembler. We at Asta Agency are collaborating with Micatrone in this recruitment process. The process is conducted through Asta, and you will then be employed directly by Micatrone. 

About the Position

In the role of assembler, you will work hands-on with manufacturing by building, assembling, and testing the company's products from the first detail to verified delivery. You will work closely with colleagues throughout the organization, focusing on quality, collaboration, and continuous improvements. The work spans from mechanics and electronics to computer-assisted testing sequences, where you connect finished products and follow a test program to ensure functionality and measurement accuracy before delivery. Your tasks will also include handling more practical aspects such as order management and logistics.

Responsibilities:   

• Assemble and build both mechanical and electronic products and verify the final product through testing or measurement according to instructions.

• Mechanical tasks: cutting, deburring, drilling, and handling simpler machines/tools.

• Electronics tasks: simpler assembly, cable work, and component handling.

• Test and evaluate products to understand functionality and areas of use.

• Perform simple calculations/measures based on customer specifications.

• Collaborate with production, purchasing/logistics, and subcontractors for smooth flow.

• Prepare materials, place finished units on shelves, and assist with packing and deliveries.

Qualifications and Attributes

In this recruitment process, your personal qualities are of great importance. We are therefore looking for someone who is technically curious, self-driven, and proactive. You enjoy testing, understanding, and always want to find new solutions and tasks in a proactive way. You thrive in a smaller organization where collaboration is close and supportive, and you easily adapt to different situations. As a person, you are solution-oriented, initiative-taking, and engaged. You are at the beginning of your career and thrive best when you can build, screw, and test, carefully and methodically. You communicate clearly and contribute order and quality in every step.

Additionally, we are looking for someone who has: 

• High school technical education.

• Interest in electronics and mechanics, for example from working on mopeds or cars in your spare time or similar areas. 

• Computer proficiency.

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English.

Desirable Experience:

• Experience with soldering and simpler component replacement.

• Experience/knowledge in ventilation, heating/HVAC, or flow measurement.

• Start: By agreement.

• Location: Solna, Stockholm.

• Scope: Full-time.

• Salary: By agreement.
