Your Role and Responsibilities

As a project manager at ABB Energy Industries, you will drive innovative and sustainable projects that streamline processes for our customers in energy, water, chemicals, food, and pharmaceuticals. You will be responsible for the entire project - from bidding to the end of the warranty period - and lead several parallel projects. The role may also include conducting feasibility studies. The projects consist of customized solutions based on ABB products and control systems, focusing on timelines, finances, work environment, and quality. You will work with your team to ensure achieved results and satisfied customers.

We value collaboration and diversity, and you will build strong relationships both internally and externally. You will receive support from experienced colleagues and contribute your own skills. We offer a dynamic work environment with continuous development, including licensing and certification programs. The position is based in Malmö with the possibility of working from home 1-2 days a week.

Your tasks will include:

  • Coordinating resources, timelines, and budgets in close collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • The scope of delivery in projects may vary but can include design/construction, documentation, procurement of hardware and software, testing, installation, and commissioning.

Qualifications for the Role

  • You have a technical degree at the university level in electrical engineering, automation, data, or equivalent - or you have built your competence through relevant work experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience working as a project manager for delivery projects to end customers externally.
  • You have previous experience and knowledge of ABB control systems such as 800xA and/or Advant Master or other control systems, and we also view positively if you have had a technically leading role earlier in your career.
  • As a person, you are curious, open, and social - you naturally build strong and long-term relationships and thrive in collaborations with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
  • You are a reliable team player who inspires trust and enjoys working together to achieve common goals.
  • You have strong self-drive and good organizational skills, along with a strong business focus and good understanding of contract law.
  • You are a skilled communicator and express yourself fluently in both Swedish and English, in speech and writing.
