School Informant for Air Defense Regiment, Lv 6

Are you a good ambassador for the Swedish Armed Forces? Do you enjoy meeting new people? Would you like to represent the Armed Forces at school presentations, fairs, and events? The Air Defense Regiment, Lv 6, is now looking for a school informant who has recently completed military basic training to join the HR department (G1) and contribute to the growth of the Armed Forces by informing about its activities. About the HR Department, G1

The HR department is part of the regiment staff at Lv 6. The department, led by the HR manager, is divided into two sections: personnel services and HR, each led by a section manager. Within the HR section, there is an attraction team consisting of career informants and school informants, coordinated by the recruitment coordinator.

Main Responsibilities

Your main task as a school informant will be to hold presentations for students in middle and high schools. You will do this together with one of your three colleagues and be part of a team that plans activities and supports you in your work.

You will also meet our target groups in places other than just schools. This may include educational fairs, physical and digital events, trial activities, work experience placements, visits to youth centers, and on social media.

Qualifications

• Completed and approved military basic training with conscription in the last 5 years
• Driver's license, manual transmission
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing
• Approved high school grades in core subjects

Furthermore, you need to have strong collaboration skills, the ability to work well in a team, and be attentive as you will meet people with different experiences and perspectives in your work. You are a stable person who is trustworthy and can represent the Air Defense Regiment and the Armed Forces. You are outgoing and communicative and find it easy to make contact with others. We also appreciate if you have a knack for administrative tasks. Experience in speaking before groups and holding presentations is a significant plus!

Other Information

• Employment type: The employment is based on the FM agreement for the employment of group leaders, soldiers, and sailors (GSS/K) and is a military employment. This means a fixed-term employment of up to eight years with the possibility of extension for four years. The employment begins with a six-month probationary period.
• Working hours: Full-time
• Working time: 40 hours/week, work may be scheduled outside regular working hours
• Work location: Halmstad, travel may occur
• Start date as soon as possible or by agreement
