The Mark Workshops (MvE) is a unit of about 1,200 people and has been a part of the Army Staff (AST) since January 1, 2026, performing maintenance on the Armed Forces' ground equipment, air base equipment, and providing technical system support. This includes maintenance in the form of inspections, repairs, manufacturing, dismantling/scrapping, modifications, operational support, technical adaptation, and material examination. The Mark Workshop unit delivers services according to customer requirements.
You will join a department with about 40 engaged and knowledgeable colleagues in various supporting positions. Here, we work to support management and departments at all levels.

Main Responsibilities
As a development officer at Mark Workshop, you will participate in and lead various development projects and working groups, collaborating with other authorities and civilian actors. Your role is to identify development needs, prepare, analyze, and evaluate, as well as develop proposals. The work includes environmental monitoring, generating ideas and concepts, and developing concrete solution proposals primarily related to the development of our combat unit.
In the role of development officer, you should also be able to handle the tasks that arise in the role of staff officer and represent Mark Workshop during exercises.
The work is dynamic and varied, where it is expected that you can plan and propose how your tasks can best be solved.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Officer OR 7-8 or OF 3.
- Current and relevant experience in leading and/or participating in projects.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Good knowledge of the Office suite.
- Driving license B.

Location: Halmstad or another operational location.
