As this position is a summer temporary role, we wish for you to be available for work between weeks 25-33. Securitas will assign you a schedule so you can plan your summer with both work and enjoyable activities in good time! Whether you want to work day or night, in a fast-paced or calm environment, Securitas has the job for you.

Working as a guard is perfect for you who enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. As a guard at our office in Värnamo, you will become part of a close-knit team of 26 people. The length of shifts varies, but they are often 12-hour shifts either day or night. Working every other weekend is common.

As a patrolling guard, your main task is to deliver safety to our clients – primarily at industries, offices, and workshops – by protecting property and buildings from fire, theft, and damage. Usually, you will manage alarm systems and report using a computerized patrol information system. The work is independent and often perceived as free, but with a great responsibility. Working hours are mainly at night.

Requirements

Mandatory

• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Driving license B

Preferred if you

• have worked with similar tasks before
• have a civilian or military security guard training

As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized, and can handle periods of high work pace. You are interested in technology and can easily understand instructions. We see that you are an independent person who trusts your own abilities, quickly understands problems, and solves them creatively. You have a systematic and meticulous approach with an eye for detail. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.
