As a specialist nurse at Sahlgrenska University Hospital (SU), you will work in a fast-paced and educational environment where you perform nursing tasks at an advanced level. You are expected to contribute your specialist knowledge in your daily work on the unit, but we also want you to continue deepening your knowledge with your colleagues to develop care and drive SU forward.

We are looking for you

You are a trained specialist nurse or will complete your specialist training by June 2026 at the latest.

We are looking for summer substitutes during the holiday period weeks 23-35 (June 1 - August 30). We prefer that you can work 8 consecutive weeks, of which 4 weeks in July.

We are looking for someone who is structured, can take initiative, and is skilled at organizing their work. You take a leading role when the situation requires it and are good at communicating in meetings with patients and relatives. Your ability to make holistic assessments in patient care is an important part of the job.

In order for us to offer our patients good and safe care, it is important that our employees have good language skills and can communicate well in Swedish.

Before employment in psychiatry or pediatric care, a check of the suspicion and criminal records will be conducted.

At Sahlgrenska University Hospital, care is provided around the clock, which means that you may work days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Sahlgrenska University Hospital has a time quota linked to nights, which reduces weekly working hours for each night shift.
