About the position – Purchasing, inventory management, and technology

In this role, you will be responsible for both the daily flow of goods, inventory, and purchasing as well as the technical handling of spare parts and materials. Your work includes everything from goods reception and forklift driving to purchasing processes, delivery monitoring, and supplier contacts. With the help of our system (IFS), you will manage the administration of inventory balances and maintenance data while contributing to optimizing costs, delivery terms, and sustainability throughout the purchasing chain.

You will closely collaborate with internal functions and external suppliers to ensure that the business receives the right materials at the right time, with the right quality and price.

Job responsibilities – Goods reception, forklift driving, and purchasing of spare parts/material

• Receive and inspect incoming goods and be responsible for delivery and distribution within the facility

• Drive forklifts and ensure efficient material flow to and from the warehouse and storerooms

• Order, receive, and deliver spare parts/material to the relevant departments

• Maintain ongoing contact with suppliers and handle quotation requests

• Conduct inventory and ensure balance adjustments in the IFS system

• Manage administrative purchasing flows and delivery monitoring in the maintenance database

Focus areas – Optimization, supplier development, and sustainability in purchasing

• Actively work to optimize costs and negotiate delivery terms

• Build and develop strong supplier relationships and negotiation strategies

• Ensure supplier quality, risk management, and compliance with policies

• Plan inventory management and material supply according to business needs

• Prioritize environmental sustainability when selecting materials and suppliers

• Conduct market analysis to identify savings opportunities

• Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and policies for purchasing and supplier management

Qualifications – To succeed in purchasing & technology

• Experience in inventory management, purchasing, material supply, and technical work

• Forklift license and experience in forklift driving

• Familiarity with maintenance/business systems, preferably IFS or similar

• Good administrative and communication skills

• Knowledge of purchasing processes, supplier contacts, and quotation requests

• Systematic and meticulous work approach with a solution focus

• Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
