Job Responsibilities

Gothenburg is growing and developing, and the Property Management Administration plays a central role in the city's long-term urban development.

We are responsible for planning, building, leasing, managing, and developing premises and outdoor environments for the City of Gothenburg's operations. To ensure high quality even after completed construction projects, we are now looking for a warranty manager for the Project and Investment department.

As a warranty manager, you play a key role in the transition between construction projects and management. Your task is to ensure that contractors have delivered according to agreements, documents, and quality requirements, and that warranty issues are handled in a structured and professional manner during the warranty period. You serve as an important link between the project organization and ongoing management, contributing to the creation of long-term sustainable and well-functioning properties.

Your Responsibilities

• Participate in the handover of projects from the project organization to the management organization.
• Be the representative of the Property Management Administration at 2- and 5-year inspections.
• Follow up on handed-over projects and manage complex warranty issues.
• Ensure that contractors rectify errors according to agreements.
• Act as the primary contact person for contractors and internal clients.
• Contribute to the development of routines and methods for warranty management.
• Work with feedback and quality monitoring.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with;

• A university degree in construction engineering, property management, or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in warranty management, building inspection, or similar.
• Good knowledge of construction law (AB 04, ABT 06).
• Knowledge of LOU and construction legislation.
• Good communication skills in spoken and written Swedish.

The Property Management Administration creates environments where life can take place by planning, building, leasing, managing, and developing premises and outdoor environments for the City of Gothenburg's operations. Every day, hundreds of thousands of Gothenburg residents are active in preschools, schools, care homes, and other premises that we manage.

Together with the City Environment Administration, the Exploitation Administration, and the City Planning Administration, we have a coordinated responsibility for urban development in the City of Gothenburg.
