About the role

As an employee with us, you represent Hornbach and set an example in terms of commitment, drive, and customer service. We are now looking for a sales associate for our garden department in the outdoor area. Your main tasks will primarily involve maintaining the department's logistics in terms of loading and unloading. Thanks to your product knowledge and sales skills, you ensure that the customer can complete their project.

Examples of typical tasks

• Active sales of the product range within gardening
• Logistics and forklift driving in the garden department
• Opportunities to be inspired, learn from colleagues, and exchange solid knowledge and experience within the product area
• Responsible for incoming goods and displays, as well as for setup and renovations in the department
• Analyze the department's product presentation
• Assist in other departments as needed

Your profile

• High school education or equivalent and experience in retail
• Relevant work experience/education in gardening and logistics work
• Passionate about providing our customers with the best possible service
• Realize the customer's project through professional advice on our wide product range
• You are stress-resistant, flexible, and solution-oriented
• Forklift license is required as there is a lot of forklift driving and logistics work involved
• Driving license B is an advantage

Working hours/Duration:

Seasonal employment, temporary. Part-time 30 hours/week. Fixed work schedule for mornings, evenings, and every other weekend.
