ABOUT THE POSITION

As an Operational Team Leader, you will be the driving force in the daily operations at Strandskogen Last and Transport, a company specializing in mechanical picking of chickens from breeders and the crucial transportation of these. This means you will have strategic responsibility for leading and developing the team that handles the picking and logistics while optimizing scheduling.

Please note that this business requires you to be available and prepared to work flexible hours at all times of the day. Therefore, we are looking for someone who can manage on-call duties and make quick operational decisions when the situation demands it.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

This is a role with significant responsibility, which means:

• Animal welfare in focus: You are the ultimate guarantee that the transport is carried out according to the highest possible standards for animal protection and applicable laws
• Total operational control: Responsible for scheduling, logistics planning, and dialogue with both farmers and slaughterhouses
• Leadership and development: Lead, coach, and manage your team, including payroll reporting and approvals
• Technical oversight: Responsible for service and maintenance of transport equipment and machines
