Job Description

Our business area Product & Software Engineering is currently growing, and we are looking for someone with a strong interest in programming and experience in embedded systems development. We work in cross-functional development teams where continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing are integral parts of everyday life.

In the role of Embedded Developer, you will develop high-quality software that meets our customers' needs. As a full-time employee at AFRY, you will have the opportunity to either work in our internal project delivery organization or directly with one of our clients. Our clients are in various industries – from MedTech (R&D), Telecom, and aerospace to machinery and equipment manufacturing, defense, automotive, and consumer products.

Qualifications

As a consultant at AFRY, you will either work on our own projects or at the client's site. To thrive in this role, you need to be a team player who is communicative and enjoys collaborating. We also value curiosity, a desire to develop, and not shying away from new challenges – you should enjoy an environment where you can use your programming skills to solve complex problems!

Requirements for the role:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar

• Strong understanding and experience with embedded systems (at least 5 years)

• Experience in software development for embedded/drivers

• Experience with real-time operating systems for embedded

• Knowledge of embedded CPU architecture

• Programming in C/C++/C#

• Python

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English

Meritorious:

• MATLAB/Simulink

• FPGA/VHDL

• Interest in practical lab work with equipment
