Bubo HVB is looking for substitute youth assistants

The Child and Family Section is seeking 1-2 substitute youth assistants for the Bubo HVB home. Bubo HVB is part of the Child and Education Administration within Falu Municipality. Within the same unit, there is also a support accommodation for youth aged 16 to 20 years. Some tasks may also occur at the support accommodation as the operations work closely together. The employment concerns summer substitutes for 2026.

Job Responsibilities

Bubo HVB receives girls according to SoL and LVU aged 13 to 19 years with psychosocial issues. At the HVB home, youth assistants work based on case management. Support is provided based on an established implementation plan and in close collaboration with the responsible case officer within Child and Family. The work also includes contact with the youth's network, school, and other relevant actors around the youth, such as BUP and healthcare. Employees are also responsible for cooking, shopping, cleaning, etc.

The HVB home has scheduled staff around the clock with sleeping on-call. You will always have a colleague by your side. You will be assigned an experienced mentor who will follow you during the introduction.

The operations have stable workgroups with extensive experience and competence in psychosocial work. The work environment efforts are active to ensure a stable and safe work environment where everyone is included. The operations also have a need for extra substitutes during the spring, so we would like you to start an intermittent employment before the summer.

Qualifications

The following is required for the role:

• Minimum 2-year post-secondary education in behavioral science, social work, pedagogy, care, and nursing, or other education that the employer considers equivalent
• Driver's license (B)
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing
• Experience in documentation

Personal Qualities

Personal maturity, stability, flexibility, and the ability to collaborate with colleagues and external partners will be considered. Being able to meet and understand youth and their relatives with a solution-focused approach in a vulnerable life situation is an important factor.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience in psychosocial work with youth is desirable
• Experience in network work

Employment Conditions

The recruitment concerns a fixed-term employment during the summer of 2026. The operations also have a need for extra substitutes during the spring, so we would like you to start an intermittent employment before the summer.

A driver's license is required.
