We are now looking for substitutes who want to work in our municipal preschools in Björbo, Dala-Floda, Mockfjärd, Bäsna, Djurås, Djurmo, and Gagnef.

Experience a challenging and fun journey towards personal development. Working as a substitute in preschool is a stimulating and developing job. You will be part of the daily work where you meet children, guardians, and colleagues.

You should enjoy a flexible working style as you may be booked at short notice to replace regular staff. You will work through the Staffing Center and need to continuously update your availability in the booking system SwedeTime to show when you can work. After that, you will receive your bookings with information via SMS.

Job Responsibilities

In preschool, you will work with groups of children aged 1–5. Together with regular staff, you will help create a positive and developing environment for each child and for the entire group. We meet curious, creative, and competent children who expand their world from home to social interaction with other children.

The pedagogical activities in preschool are based on the following fundamentals:

Qualifications

You easily create good contacts with children, guardians, and educators. You want to contribute to creating an enjoyable educational environment for play, teaching, development, and learning.

You should have a genuine interest in working with children and possess good collaboration skills to build strong relationships with children, educators, and guardians.

Since the work is varied and can take place in different workplaces, you are confident in yourself and can adapt to different situations. You enjoy learning new things, are attentive, and show interest in the work.

You need to be at least 18 years old and have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have:

• relevant education for the profession
• relevant experience in the profession
• other work experience

Conditions

Intermittent need-based employment. Start date by agreement. Interviews and selection are ongoing. To work as a substitute in schools and preschools, you must present a valid extract from the criminal record, according to the Education Act, before employment.
